Left Behind
2023-Present.
Over the past few years, I’ve found myself drawn to photographing lost toys—small, forgotten figures abandoned in unexpected places. I’m not entirely sure what first made me stop and take notice. Maybe it was the way they seemed so out of place, a little piece of childhood stranded in a world that had moved on without them. Or maybe it was the quiet questions they seemed to hold.
Are they missed, or have they already been replaced?
Will someone else pick them up and continue their story, or are they destined to disappear, unnoticed?
Each one carries a story I’ll never fully know, yet capturing them in a photograph feels like a small act of remembrance. A way of giving these lost objects a moment of attention before they are completely forgotten.
